Full Mouth Exam

A comprehensive exam is performed on a new patient to review the patient’s medical and dental history with a full-mouth series of digital x-rays including panoramic x-rays and CT scan. A dentist will evaluate all inside, outside of the mouth and soft tissues thoroughly.
A periodic exam is performed each time a patient visits the office regularly, every 6 month, to check an overall health, and to see if anything has changed with oral health since last visit.
A limited exam is for a specific problem or dental emergency such as a toothache, infection or trauma to the teeth. A patient will take only one or two x-rays to determine the source of a pain and an appropriate treatment.

Regular teeth cleaning

A regular teeth cleaning is the removal of dental plaque (tarter) from teeth with the intention of preventing cavities and gum disease. A dentist encourages a patient to have regular teeth cleaning at least twice a year to prevent the oral diseases.

SRP (Scaling and Root planning)

SRP is a deep cleaning which is the process of smoothing out the root surfaces of the teeth by removing hard calculus deposits and debris below the gums to treat gum disease.

Complete & Partial Denture

Extraction

An extraction means to have a tooth removed, usually because of tooth decay, dental trauma, gum disease, or teeth crowding. Sometimes, impacted wisdom teeth (wisdom teeth that are stuck and unable to grow normally into the mouth) cause recurrent infections of the gum and may be removed when other conservative treatments have failed.
